With its abundance of wildlife surrounding Livingstone and the rich culture of the city you will enjoy a varied and exciting time on this four day tour. Of course it includes a tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonder of the world, stretching 1,708 metres (5,604 ft.) and a drop of 108 metres (354 ft.). We will provide you with a raincoat to protect you from the spray that the falls produce. You will see why the falls are nicknamed 'the smoke that thunders' with the clouds of spray forming over the falls and the tremendous sounds that are produced by the falling water. We will see more of the city and culture of Zambia on the city tour, including a museum visit and we will make a 20 drive to Mukuni village, where you can learn more about the traditional lifestyle in rural Zambia. This is your Flight of Angels: viewing the 1500 meter wide Victoria Falls, Mosi oa Tunya Park and the Batoka Gorge with an aerial perspective during a flight. Go rafting on the Zambezi, and conquer the class 3 – 5 rapids of the river. The Zambezi is considered to be one of the best white water rafting rivers in the world. You can do a couple of rapids in a half day tour or if you have more time to spend you can do the full rafting tour or even make it into a multi day rafting experience, camping overnight on the shores of the river. You start off with a briefing about the adventure you are going on, including the important safety briefing. Your guide is your rafting captain and one other guide is following you in a kayak to help out where needed.
