Overview

With its abundance of wildlife surrounding Livingstone and the rich culture of the city you will enjoy a varied and exciting time on this four day tour.

Of course it includes a tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonder of the world, stretching 1,708 metres (5,604 ft.) and a drop of 108 metres (354 ft.). We will provide you with a raincoat to protect you from the spray that the falls produce. You will see why the falls are nicknamed 'the smoke that thunders' with the clouds of spray forming over the falls and the tremendous sounds that are produced by the falling water.

Livingstone is surrounded by wildlife. Depending on the season and our luck on our game drive through Mosi oa Tunya National Park we will be spotting giraffes, zebras, impala, elephants, crocodiles, hippos and lots of birds. With your guide and a guard we will do a safari walk in the park to spot the white rhino. At Mukuni Big Five you can engage with lions: you will be walking side by side with them.

We will see more of the city and culture of Zambia on the city tour, including a museum visit and we will make a 20 drive to Mukuni village, where you can learn more about the traditional lifestyle in rural Zambia.

There are times for relaxation, too: the sunset cruise on the Zambezi river. The two hour late afternoon cruise takes you around Siloka Island while sipping drinks and enjoying finger snacks. Hopefully we get to see wildlife too on the island and on the banks of the Mosi oa Tunya Park.
